Final piece for my interactive gameplay design module. I created a load up intro that would play before the games title menu to show the player the basic story and briefly example the game they are about to play. I was disappointed with some of the after effects editing especially on the laser bullets, but I was pushed for time with other projects to complete.


Plot

In a parallel low poly universe, several decades and light years from the present, an inter-planetary war has just broken out between the earth-like planet Blanco and its fellow inhabitants of the Nu galaxy.

A booming industrial planet nearest to the galaxies sun, Blanco had enjoyed much of its success mining its planets naturally growing Alimentation to power everything from their cities and towns to their transportation and weaponry. Unfortunately the planets supply of Alimentation was finite, forcing the people of Blanco to travel to the seemingly desolate neighbouring planets of Vert, Jaune and Rouge in search of more.

Once the Alimentation had been located and mining had begun, the never-before-seen occupants of each planet began to surface and overthrow the Blanco mining settlements, sending its workers back empty handed.

Desperate to appear in control of the situation ahead of mounting pressure from its people about the lack of Alimentation, the
government of Blanco turned to renegade astronaut Jonny Zap for immediate help and re-launched their mining ships, declaring war on any Verts, Jaunes or Rouges that get in his way.
