WEBSITE PLAN
My website was originally going to be entirely forum based, allowing the whole thing to be made with PunBB. The application would provide the basic structure and coding for the forum, making it easy to add some starter posts, allow users to sign up etc, so I can focus more on the CSS of the site.
I have also decided to add a blog side to the website, that I can make in WordPress. Using wordpress and the many themes available to me, I can create a homepage for the site, a news and events section where I can post pictures and blog posts about upcoming things, a section on all the fighters, where each can have his/her own page or post about them and in the menu bar I can add a link to the forum, so the entire site connects.
Both WordPress and PunBB take care of most of the coding, so I can focus my time on making the site content and associated graphics etc
